Send me the song "Haircuts and T-Shirts"? It would be greatly appreciated. I also have the song "All Night Long" if anyone wants it then I'll put it on sendspace or something.

7/8/06 was perhaps the best night of my life. I can't really find any other words to describe it. I managed to get this;
Before the floor EXLPODED w/dancing. They played a new song, and "Jersey's Best Dancers" too. I'm still a-flutter.
Oh, and the singer of the Bronx looks like John Favreau.
I bet tonight's insane too. Current Mood: busy

I didn't know this, but....
Apparently "Somewhere in the Swamps of New Jersey" is a Bruce Springsteen reference, from a song called "Rosalita" (which oddly enough has also been referenced in song by Saves The Day). I did not know that, my brother figured it out and told me (because he's more of a traditional rock nerd and listens to alot of the Boss, Clapton, etc).
That's all, just felt like sharing. Current Mood: tired

Well from the looks of some of the posts.......
I don't think this will be well accepted, but it's happened, there's no changing it.

Fueled By Ramen and Decaydance Records are honored to welcome Lifetime to the family. After announcing their reunion and playing a handful of shows, Lifetime is back again with plans to release their first new album since 1997's 'Jersey's Best Dancers.'
From the band:
Pete and Decaydance are giving us an opportunity to the make the record we want to make while still staying in control of our music and our lives. They are behind us as artists and because of that, we're backing them as a label.
Jade Tree Records recently released the band's 'Somewhere In The Swamps Of Jersey' - a double-disc set with singles, compilation tracks, covers, demos and a lot more. Lifetime is currently working on new material and getting set for The Bamboozle in East Rutherford, NJ on May 6th and 7th.
Yeah, please don't shoot the messenger Current Mood: confused

OK, deleted that bullshit street team whore, pretty fucking quick they jumped on that shit.
I'll ban her if she comes back, because:
A.) I still don't buy it, it was posted by a member of Paint it Black on a message board that the rumors of this were 100% untrue, so unless he was just trying to keep it hush hush, I'm taking his word for it.
B.) This place isn't a place for fucking spam, and I really don't one of Pete Wentz's sluts using this community for that.
For more info on Pete Wentz:http://askheychris.livejournal.com/93593.html
And I'm sure we've all seen the dude's tiny dick and shitty ass tattoo.edit:
Make as many accounts as you want, I'm just gonna keep banning them. I'm not gonna get drug into an argument about this.

Jade Tree unveils Lifetime retrospective details
"Jade Tree has unveiled details, a release date and a sample MP3 for the upcoming retrospective compilation from Lifetime. The influential band played a few East Coast reunion shows earlier this year, after their initial reunion show was canceled along with the rest of the ill-fated Hellfest. In January, the band will also hit some West Coast stops. The double-CD retrospective, titled Somewhere In The Swamps Of Jersey is due out March 21st, and will be Jade Tree's 100th release. The release includes singles, compilation tracks, covers and demos, but also two versions of their crucial, out-of-print 1993 debut, Background. Disc one’s version has been completely remixed while Disc two presents a remaster of the untouched original, complete with the bonus live set. A 52-page book of liner notes, lyrics and over 40 rare photographs completes the package.
A track from the album can be found here: "Starsixtynine."
You can click Read More for the track listing.
The band released two full lengths on Jade Tree before splitting up to form Kid Dynamite, Zero Zero and Paint It Black"Discuss. Current Mood: excited

! rumors about re-issues
"According to pastepunk.com, re-issues of the Lifetime albums are in the works."
"I was talking to the Jade Tree guys at Bamboozle and they said it will have the out of print 7 inch stuff, bsides and their old demo which is impossible to get. It shoud also have new artwork and liner notes written by the band members. It should be a nice package that will be worth getting even if you already own the cds."
so for all you kids who do not yet own their CDs, or just want a sweet deal, get excited.
nothing is 100% confirmed yet
, but this could be awesomeeee Current Mood: HAPPPYYY!

I just bought "Background" this weekend. Not as terrible as people tell me, but definitely not as great as "HB" and "JBD". Still, not bad. NEXT STOP, the singles collection!!!

So, I have both cds now and don't really like "Jerseys Best Dancers". It's really slow and sorta nu metalish, but "Hello Bastards" sounds completely different to me. It's a lot faster and more engaging. Conclusion; "Hello Bastards" is a great album, "Jerseys Best Dancers" is very meh, you know, in my opinion.
